By default, the Intercom Sync plugin does not apply tags. However, the plugin includes developer filters for you to insert them as required.

For example, the event register_new_user is triggered by the WordPress hook of register_new_user and include a filter for applying tags called iwp_user_register_tags

This form of tagging is available for nearly all events.
