When the SalesLoft App loads in Intercom, it will search for an existing contact in your SalesLoft instance based on the email of the Intercom contact. If a person exists, the person’s information will be shown.
To create a person, or if one does not exist, simply click Create Person when prompted.
On the next page, you can specify the name of the contact that will be pre-filled with the Intercom data. Please note, you cannot change the email of the contact as this is the link between Intercom and SalesLoft that our app uses.
You may also choose the SalesLoft Stage for the person by choosing an appropriate value. If no stage is selected, the default will apply.
When ready, click Create Person
If successful, you will receive the following notification:
Congrats! You have created a contact in SalesLoft with your new Intercom App from Highways!
